On April 21th, 2017 [China·Suzhou Humanities Design Week] and [Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards] press conference was held at the Poly Theater of Suzhou Public Cultural Center to meet with masters from all walks of life.

　　

The "Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards" was initiated and directed by The Art Display & Decoration Committee (ADCC) of China National Interior Decoration Association in 2010. It is a grand award in China's furnishing art category and has the highest independent award status in the history of China's interior furnishing art. The competition is composed of five categories: Interior Design Award ,Furnishing Design Award, Master of Art of Living, Contribution to Public Good Award and Future Awards. According to the annual selection rules, it has been successfully held for five sessions so far.

The award presents the distinctive characteristics of professionalism, academicism and leadership, and has quickly become an authoritative award in the field of Chinese display art. The previous judges were all held by leaders of relevant national departments and relevant industry associations, domestic and foreign design masters, artists, leaders of famous art schools, and heads of design institutions. It is supported by well-known designer associations in China and the world, industry experts, top designers, and professional colleges, as well as strong support from 40 professional media across the country. This year’s jury team is strong and professional. They are: Wang Yamin (Vice-President of The Palace Museum), Tan Ping (Deputy Dean of the Chinese Academy of Art), Steve Leung (Executive Chairman of IFI and famous Hong Kong designer), Liang Jianguo (Executive Director of the The Art Display & Decoration Committee and famous designer), Kelly·Hoppen (famous British interior designer), Wang Chaoge (Director, Chief Director of  "Impression Series" and screenwriter), Shen Lei (Special Judge of Future Award , Partner and Design Director of Nei Architectural Design Co., Ltd.)

The theme of this year's Crystal Kylin Award is "Between Heaven and Earth". Environmental issues have always been the focus of our attention, and everyone is a designer. How to create a living space while paying attention to environmental issues is worthy of our deep consideration. The basic belief of this award is "pay attention to life, humanities and future".

　

At the press conference, Mr. Liu Xu, President of China Interior Decoration Association and the Honorary Chairma of Organizing Committee Of The Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards, gave a speech first. Later, Mr. Liang Jianguo, the Executive Director of the The Art Display & Decoration Committee, a famous designer, Jury of [Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards], delivered a speech on how designers can improve their reputation through professional awards, and explained the Jingqilin Award Industry influence. Finally, Ms. Zhang Huanrong, the Executive Secretary of the The Art Display & Decoration Committee and the Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee Of The Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards, gave a specific introduction to the content of the 2017 [Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards] collection and the judging method. In addition, in response to the designer's request and the postponement of the awarding time, the deadline for award collection was changed to April 30th, 2017.
