After ten years, in 2019 "Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards" returned to Guangdong again, back to its starting point. Take ten years as a new starting point, a new beginning, start again, and use stricter review requirements to check every work.

In 2019, the collection of works for the [Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards], after 270 days, more than 2,300 works were collected in 4 categories. Among them, more than 1,500 works have passed the audit. There were 12 preliminary judges, which were divided into two rounds. After 60 days of back-to-back silent evaluation, 161 shortlisted works were finally selected. Finally, after final evaluation and space display scoring, the top 10 of each group were selected. The final award will be announced at the award ceremony on December 1st.

From November 29 to December 1, the 10th "Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards" ceremony will rely on "China Interior Design Week",  jointly hold a series of art activities, including "China Interior Design Summit Forum", "Asia Roundtable Discussion Forum", "China Interior Design Award Ceremony", "Kylin Salon", "Kylin PK Show" and "Kylin's Talk" , and create a lively art festival for local residents. "Art Display China·Crystal Kylin Awards" look forward to meeting you in Guangdong, "China Interior Design Week", and the Life Design Festival.

In 2019, I did a series of experiments in Shanghai and Beijing. A series of experiments on the relationship between architecture, soacre and furniture. This experiment is our exploration of a question raised by Maxmarko itself and the home furnishing field. What is the relationship between architecture, space and furniture?

When exploring the relationship between architecture, space and furniture, I found that Maxmarko is already trying to treat them as one. This point coincides with the idea of the stage of Western modernism. We are all in our own environment to build a bridge connecting the past, modern and future, and start to find our own language, and on this basis to interpret the relationship between the past, modern and future.

I always wonder, what should Maxmarko's development look like in the next ten years? This question has a clear answer in this round of experiments.

Many people are talking about French style and Japanese style. When they talk about style, they hope that French is French and Japanese is Japanese. It has a fixed, original style. But when we looked back, we found that the original things were lost in time and disappeared.

The development of culture must be integrated. Only the continuous flow of fresh blood can make the culture develop continuously. The same goes for products. We hope to use the best, tried and tested technology, the best material, the best design, ideas and R&D process to achieve the best product that can be made within our cognition. Our cognition will continue to improve, and we will continue to optimize and improve.

Back to the original me. What is the original me? Maybe it's back to the original feeling. Everyone should have their own thinking about art. In such a noisy world, we can have a pure land to store our most essential self. Every product must give it a soul. This is the connection between product and art.

Chen Yaoguang's sharing began with an art documentary and the latest interior design work "Guangheyuan". The interleaving of light and shadow, and the art salon space that took three years to develop, caused endless reverie.

Without light and shadow, there is no space. Without light and shadow space, there is no expression. In space, light is the only thing that can bring magical effects. Its impact on psychological feelings greatly exceeds the significance of many expensive materials.

Spontaneously convergent light is either hot or bright. Light can ignite imagination. Days without imagination are dark.

People's dependence on light is actually due to ignorance of darkness. Light can light up the imagination rather than the direction. It's a bit like philosophical analysis, a bit like postmodern philosophy. But I think it's a real feeling. It's an expression I give it in a technical way.

In my opinion, the materials in space are materialized and all are plain. Only the light is meat, and it is unpredictable. Natural light is ever-changing. In different weather, light changes rapidly. The light in the design is also changing soundlessly. I am willing to use my understanding and experience of life to release some truly relaxing things. Use a virtual light environment to capture and express the emotions people want to experience. The visible place, the invisible design. Let the design disappear, and let the soul of the space live forever. Put the right things in the right place. The aesthetics of life, love, relaxation, and fun are the highest realm of the designer's plan.

Light does not necessarily illuminate the direction and stage, not the color of wine, nor the direction of furniture and entrance doors. It is another ideal that illuminates the imagination, belief, and burns the heart for designers and people with a better life.

Why did you choose this subject? The theme of this year's public class is "Energy". As the energy of the universe, light can give energy to everything in the world, to living things, and to mountains and waters. Light is a natural phenomenon. As professional designers, we are very familiar with light, but we are also very unfamiliar. I have also been in constant confusion and curiosity. In the past year or so, I haven't had many public activities due to immunity issues. Recently, I have been breathing the light energy naturally given to the earth in Wudalianchi and Lake Baikal in the northeast.

Today, for the first time, I put energy sharing into "Kylin's Open Class" to share the heat of light. At the same time, as the initiator of "photosynthetic organization", I have just built a research-based cooperation platform for art, design and life aesthetics. What I talk about is about light and its attributes, the physical and psychological feelings of light in space, and the reflection of light in my understanding and presentation.

This time I will talk about "light, ignite imagination". I hope that in the next session I will talk about "space and life, perfection is lacking", or "art is not expensive, it lies in discovery, and design makes art a daily life"... These series will be announced and disseminated on our "LIGHT MIX" platform. I hope that with the theme of my open class today, more people will explore and collaborate on original design, artistic design, and daily art.
